Artificial
lawn is made of grass-like synthetic fibers implanted on woven fabric
and coated with fixed coating on back surface with natural grass
movement properties.
Artificial lawn consists of 3 layers of materials. Base layer consists of compacted soil layer gravel layer asphalt or concrete layer. Base layer requires solid, non-deforming, smooth surface and impervious surface, namely ordinary concrete site. Because hockey field area large area, construction must handle good foundation layer, prevent subsidence. If
concrete layer is paved, concrete cracks should be cut out after
solidification, preventing thermal expansion deformation and cracks.
Base layer is a layer of buffer layer usually composed of rubber or foam plastics. Rubber elasticity is moderate and thickness is 3 ~ 5mm. Foam
plastics cost lower but elasticity is poor thickness 5 ~ 10 mm thick
lawn is too soft and easy to sag; thin elastic without elasticity can
not play buffer effect. Buffer layer should be firmly pasted on base layer usually paste with white latex or universal glue.
Physical chart third layer, also surface layer, is turf layer. According
to manufacturing surface shape downy sod ring curly grass leaf
polypropylene fiber turf grass made by, Donnie grass etc. This layer must also be glued on rubber or foam plastics with latex. When construction must be fully adhesive press close firmly unable to fold.
