What is artificial grass?
Artificial grass, also known as artificial turf, is a synthetic material that mimics natural grass and is usually made from plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene or nylon. It is widely used in stadiums, gardens, playgrounds, courtyards and other places, and plays an irreplaceable role in the construction and sports industries!
The development history of artificial grass can be traced back to the 1960s，The following are the development stages of artificial grass:
1960s: Initial R&D
In 1965, the first commercial artificial turf was installed at Astro Field in Texas, USA. The turf was called AstroTurf.
1970s: Widely used
The use of artificial grass is expanding to more stadiums and schools, especially in areas where natural grass cannot be maintained.
