The football field is not purely flat, but requires a turtle shape, that is, the middle is high and the four sides are low. This is done to facilitate rain and drainage. We just can't see it because the court is too large and has a lawn on it.
2. Basic level drainage method There are two aspects of drainage in the basic level drainage method. First, the remaining water after surface drainage is infiltrated into the ground through the loose base soil, and at the same time passes through the blind ditch in the base and is discharged into the drainage ditch outside the site. On the other hand, it can also isolate the groundwater and maintain the natural water content on the surface. This is very important for a natural turf football field. The base layer seepage drainage method is very good, but it has very strict requirements on engineering material specifications and high technical requirements for construction operations. If it is not done well, it will not play the role of seepage and drainage, and may even become a stagnant layer. The drainage of sport football grass is generally infiltration. The underground seepage system is closely integrated with the structure of the site, and most of them are in the form of blind ditch (an underground drainage channel). The drainage slope range of the outdoor ground of the artificial turf base is controlled between 0.3% and 0.8%. The slope of the sport football grass field without water seepage function is not greater than 0.8%, the slope of the artificial turf field with water seepage function is 0.3%, and the drainage ditch of outdoor sites is generally not Less than 400㎜.
3.Forced drainage
The forced drainage method is to set a certain amount of water filter pipes in the grassroots.
It uses the vacuum action of the suction pump to accelerate the water in the grassroots into the water filter pipe and drain it out of the field. This drainage system allows the football field to play on rainy days. Therefore, the mandatory drainage method is essential.
