Artificial Turf Cleaning Requirements

As the application of artificial turf becomes more and more extensive, the maintenance of artificial turf becomes an important link. Natural turf needs to be repaired on a regular basis, and artificial turf needs regular cleaning and maintenance.
Especially after carrying out some large-scale activities and competitions, it will be easier to use a vacuum cleaner to timely clean the paper, melon seeds, peanut shells, and tape. A satisfactory vacuum cleaner can suck in food debris, shredded paper and surface dust.
When using these machines, there are a few things to note:
1, the temperature limit
In summer, do not use the cleaner if the temperature exceeds 33°C.
2, brush type
The cleaner must have a synthetic fiber brush similar to nylon or polyolefin. The minimum length of the brush is 2.5 inches. Brushes cannot contain metal or metal wires.
3, spilled oil
Prevent grease, grease, liquids, etc. from spilling or dripping onto the surface of your turf during cleaning, as these liquids will discolor the grass fibers and must not spill acidic liquids like batteries onto the grass.
4, the removal of stains
Among most antifouling fibers, polyethylene is known because most of the stains are generated because of moisture, but polyethylene itself does not absorb moisture. Therefore, the “stains” on the polyethylene fibers are washed with clean water or soapy water. The stain on artificial grass is very easy to clean before it gets dry and hardens. Remove solid or putty-like stains, scrape with a spatula, then blot excess liquid with a handkerchief, clothing, or paper.
5, brush installation
The correct use of the cleaning machine will not carry away the rubber particles that are filled in the turf, so the installation of the brush deserves special attention. The specific installation method depends on the model of the cleaning machine. When the installed brush barely touches the top of the grass fiber, the cleaning machine will work very well. Do not install the brush so low that it sticks into grass fibers, fillers, or cushions. When the brush is installed too low, it will damage the turf and affect the filling. We do not recommend using a cleaning machine to remove the soil.
6, vehicle gas emissions
To prevent fires or to melt grass fibers due to excessive temperatures, do not park vehicles that are not extinguished on the turf. Regardless of the type of vehicle used, the vehicle's gas must not be discharged into the stadium.
7, frequency
Generally, loose waste is cleaned only when it is needed. In the frequent use of artificial grassland, cleaning is usually done twice a month.
