Artificial Turf FAQ

Quality issues in raw materials and production processes:

1 uneven color of the lawn, color difference

Different shades of grass processing produce turf piling on a site and produce color differences.

It is a work with relatively high technical content to ensure that each batch of straws has the same thinness and thickness, uniform and uniform, and the color difference problem is often caused by the straw raw materials produced by drawing equipment that cannot meet the requirements of application technology.

2. Significant discoloration occurs after exposure to sunlight, and the stability and color fastness of uneven discoloration under ultraviolet light are important indicators for evaluating artificial turf.

3. Detachment or breakage of artificial turf often results in insufficient strength and wear resistance of the backing. After a period of corrosion, aging and small displacement wear, the durability of the backing is a critical issue in the quality of artificial turf.

4. The issue of site dehairing may also be caused by uneven backing and scraping, immature scraping process, or low abrasion resistance of the straw. Especially for young athletes, hair loss often affects health.

5. The grass is not bright enough, the friction is very static, and there is a sense of stagnation.

Anti-static performance and brightness are also the key links in the competition of artificial turf products, it is related to the product's scratch coefficient and the final movement effect. The evaluation of the pros and cons of artificial turf is the same as that of other products. It mainly depends on the selection of raw materials like grass silk and lining and whether the post-treatment process such as squeegee is mature and stable.

Problems during construction:

1 The size of the markings is not accurate enough, and the white grass is not straight.

2 The seam strength is not enough or there is no professional lawn glue, and the phenomenon of lawn turning up occurs.

3 The site seam line is obvious,

4 The laying direction of the grass did not go through a regular arrangement, and there was a color difference in light reflection.

5 The surface of the site is uneven due to uneven sand injection and rubber particles or untreated turf wrinkles.

6 There are odors or discolorations on the site, which are mostly filler quality problems.

The problems that may easily arise during the above construction process can be avoided if only a little attention is paid and strict and serious execution of the artificial turf construction procedures is required
