Ever since the artificial turf was discovered, it has been widely used, especially in various types of sports venues, making the artificial turf on the football field an important battleground for artificial turf. Combining the development history of football grass artificial grass, so far it has gone through the following four stages:
In the first phase, most of the artificial turfs sold on the market were made of PA (nylon) materials. This kind of lawn has good wear resistance and weather resistance, appearance is similar to carpet, poor elasticity, large surface hardness, high price, no elastic layer, no sand filling, and it is easy to scratch the skin when used as football grass.
With the development of the market, a new generation of artificial turf on the football field has been gradually used. At this time the lawn is mainly PP (polypropylene) as the main material, generally as the raw material of the turfgrass, the hardness of the grass silk and nylon is soft, there is more plasticity, wear resistance is slightly poor, the price is more affordable, no elastic layer , Filled with quartz sand granules, used as soccer grass to easily scratch the skin.
The pace of science and technology did not stop there. As a result, the third-generation soccer field artificial turf products also appeared. This type of lawn is PE (polyethylene) as the main material, which is the most commonly used type of straw material at the present stage. And there have been PP+PE, PP+PA, PE+PA blending, straight blending, and different forms of monofilament and other forms. Grass silk is soft, wear resistance is good, price is moderate, quartz sand and rubber are used. The particle filling has almost reached the real grass performance in terms of appearance and sports performance.
The emergence of artificial turf products in the last generation of football pitches also means that technological innovations and advancements have once again taken place. This new type of soccer field artificial turf is an unfilled football turf system that is a combination of "free-filled football grass + cushions".
